Problem by tpjp19: web site visitors?
I have a site I market products on. I also offer some of the very same products on ebay. My pricing on these items are the identical on ebay as my internet site. I track the everyday visits on my web site which some days are amongst 15-fifty hits.
My web site spells out everything online customers want to know, payment options, delivery, speak to information, privacy coverage.
I use paypal for payments. Paypal is commonly reconigzed and reliable. So whats the difficulty??
I believe I have done most every little thing appropriately, but I can not market objects on my web site.
Even with the quantity of site visitors I get, I barely get any revenue.
The hits come in on the landing page and exit off the same page without having transferring around. The items are things people want and obtain, I have proved that by offering on ebay.
Some of you will say just sell on ebay.Well I would like to consider and have a productive website to make a little further cash on.
Take a search at my web site and give me some suggestions
(good or undesirable ) on how I may well strengthen my product sales.

wow... it sound like it is not tat easy selling stuff on your own website..
I'm currently setting up my own website too!! selling some clothes and gifts..
man, ur website is great!! well, my only suggestion is maybe adding the product pictures on your front page next to the list of items? and mayb separating the three catergories?
anyway, i guess u just needa promote your site a little..well i've done some research on promoting my site, i've got a little bit of info if u want u can email me.
I don't think the website is bad. I would maybe work on somethings, make it look a little more professional. Really, though it isn't that bad. I clicked the links to a few products and found plenty of good information.
I know from typing you name into a search engine, I don't get the greatest results. The name appears as Home on yahoo, and its a paragraph on google, it should just say the name of the site. Your index page is also listed as home. I would change that to say timzdeals.com. Have you tried any web promotions? Find some other sellers on ebay who also have their own sites, and maybe start up a little web ring, putting up little banners on each others sites. I would also look for web forums and how much it might cost to sponser an ad on their page. These will help bring more people to the site.
I would imagine the problem as of now, is that people are checking your site from ebay. They already know and trust ebay, but decide to check the website that the seller has listed. I've done this, just to get a feel for the seller, what other products they offer. You need to get creative on advertising away from ebay. Even having a decal on the back window of your car might bring real buyers in. Advertising away from ebay, will get buyers who don't know you have the same items listed on ebay.
your website is not focused. It has too many items for people to look at. Any website should target a market first. It should be bult to get people to request info from you and help you build a mailing list. Then you can push more products to them further along in time.
Just putting up products on a site will not work. you need to find out what people are buying and then offer products to that market.
Some research needs to be done by you on this before you put a site up.
Use your won knowledge to make a blog and give content to people first.
If you are serious about pursuing this then get expert help first.

Your website looks sterile.
Even though you clearly spell out everything anyone needs to know, and paypal is recognized. Your customers may be concerned that will not get their product.
Make it inviting, with splashes of color, kind of how yahoo did with the green up there^.
You may want to look into buying a template, it did wonders for my site. I was averaging 7 -10 sales a day. The day I bought the template, switched everything over, my sales went to 20 in 3 hours. Consistant at that, also.
I'm not trying to offend, but it just doesn't attract me.
Other than that, if you haven't tried Pay Per Click campaigns you may want to give that a shot. I think they will give you some of the traffic you are looking for.
Just make sure you have a target market and not too many keywords.
Best of Luck.

Yes, definitely, that website needs to be made to look more professional.
PEPPER SPRAYS etc, you shouldn't display those 3 boxes on your home page. Just say "Pepper Spray" - "HOME SECURITY" etc and make drop down menus for the individual items on mouseover or when clicking.
